100% Remote - AWS Senior Software Engineer (F-5085)

Myticas's direct client based out of Chicago, IL is currently seeking an AWS Senior Software Engineer for a contract position -100% Remote. NOTE: Looking for W2 candidates only andRequires ANACI clearance its 2-step background check process which may take 6-8 weeks for completion.** Job Responsibilities: Develops moderately complex to complex systems, applications, and solutions that may have a technology or platform impact. Develops high-quality code that minimizes disruptions to the production environment and meets project deadlines for smaller/mid sized projects. Codes applications using a disciplined development process and follows security best practices, performs code documentation, sources code versioning, and maintenance. Designs and implements Continuous Integration (CI)/continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) pipelines to improve software development efficiency and quality. Performs reliable automated test cases to ensure application quality and stability in partnership with Quality Engineers, reducing the risk of errors and downtime. Leads the installation, configuration, upgrades, migration of software, systems, and resources in various environments and implements enhancements to improve reliability, security, and performance for smaller/mid-sized projects. Participates in peer review sessions, provides, and receives constructive feedback for technical deliverables Top skills: (in order of importance) AWS - ECS containers and serverless technologies (e.g. S3, Lambdas, API Gateway, etc…) Terraform Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript Java Databases - Oracle, DynamoDB (NoSQL) GitLab If possible - Agile/SAFe experience Soft skills: Collaboration/Teamwork Adaptability (adjusts to changes in priorities) Critical Thinking (applies objective analysis and reasoning) Communication
