Providence Staffing's client, a respected personal injury law firm, is seeking a skilled and dedicated
Pre-Litigation Attorney
to join their team in
Providence, Rhode Island . This role focuses on managing personal injury claims during the critical pre-litigation phase—ensuring clients receive attentive representation, strong case preparation, and optimal settlements prior to filing suit. Key Responsibilities: Manage personal injury plaintiff cases from initial consultation through all pre-litigation stages. Conduct comprehensive investigations, gather evidence, and assess liability and damages. Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to build compelling case strategies. Draft and issue demand letters; negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel. Advise clients on legal rights, case progress, and settlement options. Collaborate with medical professionals, experts, and vendors to support claims. Maintain accurate and organized case documentation in compliance with firm protocols. Work alongside litigation attorneys for matters requiring escalation to litigation. Effectively manage caseload to meet firm deadlines and deliver exceptional client service. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice in
Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts . Demonstrated experience in personal injury law, with emphasis on
plaintiff-side pre-litigation . Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience drafting and negotiating demand packages and settlement agreements. Proven ability to manage pre-litigation strategies and processes efficiently. Commitment to ethical legal practices and providing compassionate client care.
