Job Description
As a Network Engineer III in a top performing Telecommunications client’s internal lab, you will be responsible for managing a dynamic and complex environment consisting of nearly 600 network devices. Your day-to-day will involve ensuring the functionality, security, and performance of these devices through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration. Working within a Jira-based ticketing system, you'll handle a wide range of tasks—from creating VLANs and assigning IP addresses to resolving IPv4/IPv6 connectivity issues. This role offers broad exposure to diverse technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, F5, and A10, as well as hands-on experience with core and data center networks using spine-leaf architecture and VXLAN overlays. You'll be part of a fast-paced, highly technical team that touches nearly every aspect of the network infrastructure, making adaptability and a strong foundation in network fundamentals essential.
Pay Range: $42 - $47 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
In depth understanding of basic network fundamentals and protocols (OSI Model, IP Addressing, Routing & Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Multicast)
Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista for configuration and management of enterprise-grade routing and switching
Familiarity with load balancers such as F5 and A10 for application delivery and security
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (or related) with a concentration on Networking Conceptual understanding of data center or lab build outs for access and scalability (Spine-Leaf or VXLAN)
CCNA, CCNP Certified
Network + Certification
