Job Description
Job Description Description: · Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements · Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations · Reconcile and post bank entries to the general ledger daily · Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation · Assist in the month-end and year-end processes · Prepare monthly sales tax for multiple states · Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books · Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts · Assist with annual audit · Scheduling of quarterly and estimated tax payments · Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting · Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures · Performs other related duties as assigned · Managing AR and AP teams Requirements:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail · Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting · Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles · Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems · Attention to detail and accuracy · Ability to analyze financial statements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, (PREFERRED) · At least three years of related experience required
