One of our federal customers is seeking a highly experienced

Senior Data Architect

to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of their data systems. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining existing databases, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring data integrity across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data management, integration, and architecture, with a demonstrated ability to align technical strategies with business goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval. Requirements: Maintain and support existing databases and data systems Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and deadlines Analyze data and perform routine database audits to ensure data quality and accuracy Gather and define requirements for new database solutions Design, implement, and manage robust database systems Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in existing systems Plan and execute data migration strategies from legacy platforms to modern solutions Ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to data standards Develop and deliver enterprise data solutions to improve reporting and decision-making capabilities Perform data cleansing and standardization (e.g., deduplication, sanitization), assess data quality, and eliminate irrelevant data to uncover meaningful patterns and trends Required Qualifications: Candidate must be a United States and present proof of Citizenship, if selected 7+ years of hands-on experience with data architecture, data management, data analysis, IT process reengineering, systems analysis, design, and implementation, and data modeling Proven experience leading teams or managing projects Proficiency with reporting and ad-hoc analysis tools such as Tableau and Power BI Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform Strong ability to form, articulate, and defend reasoned opinions and decisions Advanced understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles In-depth knowledge of data integration strategies and best practices Hands-on experience with data migration and integrating multiple data sources into a unified repository Strong data analysis skills with experience interpreting complex data sets Proficiency in SQL (e.g., ANSI SQL) for querying and managing data Exceptional consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills; ability to build consensus across matrixed teams Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a creative, solution-oriented mindset; able to deconstruct complex problems into actionable steps Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments with shifting priorities Comfortable operating in situations with ambiguity and limited guidance Proactive and improvement-focused; seeks out and implements opportunities to enhance processes and systems Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; sets high standards for personal and team performance and demonstrates enthusiasm for organizational goals Company Benefits:
