Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Birthing Center (L&D) RN- 36 hr NIGHTS (7p-7a) with every third weekend rotation. Experience: 2 years of LDRP experience strongly preferred
Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required: State of Massachusetts RN licensure BLS NRP BSN Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
12 bed LDRP unit with a level 1B neonatal care center. birth approximately 600 babies per year.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: \u2022 Advocates for patients and families to ensure positive patient care outcomes. \u2022 Documents all changes as well as relevant information regarding patient\u2019s response to intervention, therapeutic regimens, and patient progress as it relates to plan of care and patient\u2019s response to teaching. \u2022 Communicates effectively with patients, families' peers and other members of the healthcare team. \u2022 Includes patient, family, and caregivers in all aspects of care while ensuring that all explanations are understandable. \u2022 Cares for patients throughout the following phases of care: triage, labor, delivery, recovery, circulate and cesarean sections, postpartum and well newborn care. \u2022 Attends deliveries when appropriate. Implements stabilization process according to NRP guidelines. \u2022 Responds effectively and professionally in a crisis situation. \u2022 Provides resources to assist patients and families with post-discharge needs.
BILH Cover Sheet Required Facility is not accepting local candidates. Cannot have worked perm/travel/PRN for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months. Flu vaccine required for new staff starting 9/2. Current staff will need to be vaccinated by 12/1. (declinations not accepted).
