Purpose & Scope: Receiving sampling support, storage, staging, and shipping of materials related to the business. Cleaning and maintaining equipment and warehouse areas to cGMP standards. Essential Job Responsibilities: Follow procedures, cGMP, specifications, and OSHA regulations/safety guidelines to receive, sample support, store, stage, and ship raw materials, packaging components, finished goods, and other business-related items. Perform movement of materials, equipment, and supplies using carts, manual pallet jacks, forklifts, and other powered industrial equipment. Complete & maintain accurate documentation. Receive, deliver, and ship UPS, FedEx, and other priority shipments. Complete documentation and contact personnel with regards to material received from outside vendors. Perform maintenance and PPMs on equipment used in areas of warehouse responsibility. Work closely with fellow technicians in the performance of duties and learn from or train others. Maintain the warehouse areas in a clean and orderly state. Maintain appropriate levels of non-inventory supplies related to the Company Store. Maintain appropriate levels of both wood and plastic pallets. Quantitative Dimensions: Work cross-functionally to support the APT site, with an emphasis on operations, greatly impacting quality and on-time delivery Organizational Context: Reports to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain No direct reports Qualifications: Required High School diploma. Strong attention to detail. Math skills that include metric and numeric systems, percentage and decimal calculations. Demonstrated ability using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email. One year of previous warehouse shipping and receiving experience. ERP system knowledge of Warehouse Management / Inventory Control / Cycle Counts. Must be able to work in a controlled temperature warehouse environment. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and rotate a variety of containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform the same functions for items over 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate powered lift trucks and equipment, pallet washer, and pallet inverter. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language (statement common to all Job Descriptions). Preferred SAP experience. Demonstrated ability to think critically to accurately analyze collected data and make appropriate recommendations. Inventory control experience.
