Meet the Team: Tax Accounting Team
Your Impact
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in tax provision and tax compliance for a large multinational consolidated group to join the Cisco Tax Team assisting in global income tax provision preparation and related SEC tax disclosures. Opportunity to prepare deferred tax provision, stock-based compensation tax analysis, SBC recharge, annual and interim effective tax rate forecast, monthly tax accounts reconciliation, SOX compliance, M&A purchase accounting, OECD Pillar 2 provision/compliance, and various other tax accounting analysis. Partner with various groups within the tax department, finance, corporate accounting, and treasury for various tax accounting related projects. This is a perfect place to see how different income tax elements come together and affect the company’s financial statements.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a large corporate tax environment, which may be a mix of corporate tax department, Big 4 public accounting firms, or similar
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must be willing to work overtime to meet business need during quarter close
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, meet deadlines, execute with accuracy and recognize when issues need partner concern
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, be able to multitask and work independently
