Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and launch of cutting-edge AI products for the life sciences sector
• Collaborate with engineering and application teams to define requirements, determine capabilities, and establish product development roadmaps
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure product features align with user needs, driving continual improvement
• Engage with the life sciences community to track product adoption, seek feedback, and inform future development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; experience in life sciences or healthcare is required
• Deep knowledge of AI and ML engineering, with a focus on foundational models and deep neural networks
• Good understanding of molecular biology and the types of high-throughput data used across academia and industry in the life sciences
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and UI/UX designers, ensuring progress is tracked and accurately reported
• Hands-on experience developing client-facing software products, especially those used in pharma and/or Biotech
• Experience in a fast-growing start-up, reporting into CEO/founders

• Inspiring leader capable of overcoming technical and personal obstacles to deliver on strategic plans
• Passionate about applying AI and ML in the life sciences
• Combines deep technical insight with proven leadership in guiding teams towards shared objectives
