We are seeking a skilled Machine Set-Up/Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities: Maximizes efficiency through the process of set-ups and operation of a group of clearing, fluting or pointing grinding machines to complete customer orders to blueprint specifications Runs a bank of machines and is responsible for changeovers, setups, ensuring quality and meeting production goals May operate grinders and move materials Prepare the required paperwork completely and accurately Work independently and productively Skills: Experience working a production job that involves doing machine set ups and running a bank of machines is preferred Excellent mechanical ability Basic computer skills, exposure to CNC machinery preferred Must be able to walk distances that include the entire production facility, stand 8+ hours, meet deadlines, work effectively with others, manage breaks to ensure that machines operate and meet attendance standards Excellent vision (corrected) is required Excellent manual dexterity is required to work with small pieces (tools) Working safely is a condition of employment and wearing required PPE is required Benefits: At least $20/hour + $2/hour shift differential Climate-controlled facility Eligible for benefits on Day 1 Vacation/Paid Time Off 401k Match up to 4% Tuition reimbursement 11 paid holidays per calendar year
