Description: General job duties include preparing the exam area and maintaining sterile technique. Assist the physician with various procedures including passing supplies and filming the case. Transport patients as needed. Conduct vascular procedures, neurovascular procedures, biopsies, drainage, and line placements. Utilize equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound. Charting is done using EPIC. Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork with other healthcare professionals. Participate in call requirements during the work week, weekends, and holidays. Expected to work independently with an RN present in the unit. A three to five-day orientation program will be provided with training on equipment and charting systems. Candidates must understand the requirements of a drug-free environment and pass a negative drug screen prior to employment. IEMA certification is preferred. Provide patient care in a manner that is respectful and accommodating to individual patient needs.
