Air Import Operator
to join our high-performing operations department. The Role: As an
Air Import Operator , you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of air freight import shipments from origin to final delivery. This role requires excellent coordination skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to ensure shipments move efficiently and clients remain satisfied. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor international air import shipments.
Manage pre-alerts, arrival notices, and delivery orders.
Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, and customs brokers.
Ensure timely customs clearance and delivery to customers.
Prepare and verify all documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service and status updates throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Resolve issues related to delays, discrepancies, or damages.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements: Previous experience in air import operations within freight forwarding (1-3 years preferred).
Strong understanding of air freight procedures and international shipping documentation.
Familiarity with customs clearance processes.
Proficient in MS Office and freight forwarding systems (e.g., CargoWise, Descartes, etc.).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
