Job Summary:
A Junior IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to our attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting IT issues. Experience with TSQL and SSRS is a plus, as is prior work in a law firm environment.
Responsibilities: • Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint and other firm related software. • Provide technical support for Windows 10 and 11 operating systems and iOS and Android devices. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users, both remotely and in person. • Assist with network and system administration tasks as needed. • Support/create database queries, stored procedures, and reporting using T-SQL and SSRS (preferred but not required). • Maintain IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and system configurations. • Ensure data security and compliance with law firm policies and industry regulations. • Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and external vendors to resolve IT-related concerns. • Assist with software installations, updates, and user training. • Assist in other technical projects as required. Education and Experience: • 1-3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). • Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Experience with T-SQL and SSRS (preferred but not required). • Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and IT best practices. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times • Work in the office three days a week
