Our client is a fast-paced, results-driven law firm with a national reach, specializing in commercial collections, creditor rights, and complex litigation. The litigation group plays a critical role in protecting clients' interests, and they are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to take a leading role within the team. This position is designed to replace the firm's outgoing Head of Litigation and offers significant responsibility and visibility.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead litigation strategy and case management for a high-volume docket of commercial collection and creditor-rights matters
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and appellate filings
  • Conduct depositions, evidentiary hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Provide clients with strategic advice and regular updates on case progress
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel and parties to secure favorable resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with firm, client, and court requirements across all litigation matters
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to refine litigation processes and advance client outcomes
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (additional state admissions a plus)
  • Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with significant courtroom exposure
  • Background in commercial collections, creditor rights, or complex business litigation strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to supervise, delegate, and mentor junior attorneys and staff
  • Excellent written/oral advocacy, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
