Director, Executive Recruiting - Human Resources at LHH

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in Overland Park, KS, and assisting them search for a new Senior Talent Partner to join their team. The Senior Talent Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization’s talent acquisition and performance management strategies. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a proactive leader who can partner with business leaders—especially in commercial and manufacturing functions—to forecast talent needs, build pipelines, and drive a culture of high performance and accountability. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building scalable talent programs that align with business growth and cultural transformation.

Key Responsibilities --

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for salaried roles across commercial, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs, build proactive pipelines, and deliver a high-touch candidate experience.
  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets.
  • Utilize data and metrics to continuously improve sourcing strategies and recruitment outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).

Performance Management & Development

  • Champion the rollout of a new performance management system.
  • Drive leader engagement and adoption through coaching, training, and change management.
  • Equip managers with tools and resources to conduct effective performance conversations.
  • Support development planning for high-potential and underperforming employees.

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders on workforce planning, succession, and internal mobility.
  • Analyze talent data to inform strategic decisions and identify gaps.
  • Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through inclusive hiring and advancement practices.
  • Evaluate and enhance talent systems and processes for scalability and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support broader HR initiatives including onboarding, engagement, and culture-building.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on talent acquisition and performance management.
  • Experience recruiting for commercial and manufacturing roles strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management and change leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and performance management systems.
  • HR certification preferred but not required.
