This is a full-time, second-shift position (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) supporting our dynamic and fast-paced operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Uses handheld scanner to read order to ascertain size, color, and quantity of merchandiseObtains merchandise from bins or shelvesMay work alongside collaborative robots (cobots) as part of the order pulling processPicks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is packed and meet standardsCarries or transports completed orders to the shipping audit station for final inspection and packing with material handling equipmentCross-train in Shipping Department to assist with outbound activities (audit orders, process shipments, etc.)Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as requiredMay assist in placing incoming items into inventoryBASIC QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructionsMust be able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedlyMust be able to stand for extended periods of time - this is a stand-up positionMust be able to visually distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objectsFinger/wrist dexterity to work effectively on computer keyboard or grabbing/packaging productAbility to exchange information with co-workers and work as part of a teamBenefits: NSI Industries offers a competitive salary, performance-based and attendance bonuses for certain roles.
