About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in the proactive monitoring and hands-on management of a diverse portfolio of real estate equity and debt investments. This includes reviewing and analyzing business plans, construction budgets, property performance, and marketing activities. The role also involves liaising with operating partners and clients, developing and maintaining detailed cash flow models, and providing guidance on investment performance. The Managing Director will be a key leader, with a focus on mentoring and organizing a team of technical and professional staff, and will be expected to contribute to the strategic growth and process improvement of the company.

Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a minimum of 12 years' of related experience, with at least 7 years' in a management role. A background in asset management, acquisitions, or development of commercial multifamily assets is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of fund-level metrics, the ability to drive decision-making at the asset level, and a proven track record of leadership and team management. Essential skills include a high level of job knowledge and technical ability in real estate financial modeling, underwriting, and valuations, as well as strong communication, initiative, and dependability. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
