About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Design and Merchandising for its swim and surf categories. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in design and merchandising, particularly within the apparel or sporting goods industry. This executive will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, driving a consumer-centric approach, and ensuring that the product line is innovative, performance-driven, and commercially successful. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, overseeing the design process, driving merchandising excellence, staying ahead of market and consumer insights, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. The role demands a leader with at least 15 years of experience, including a minimum of 7 years in a senior leadership position, and a deep understanding of the swim and surf markets.

The ideal candidate for the SVP position at the company will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, the ability to translate global trends into commercial success, and a strong business acumen with experience in managing a P&L and driving revenue growth. They must be adept at market and consumer analysis, and possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
