The CXO will be the key architect of the member experience, with a focus on shaping and delivering an inspiring, inclusive, and impactful leadership experience for thousands of youth and adult members. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every interaction, from the first troop meeting to various leadership adventures, strengthens engagement, fosters belonging, and supports the growth of the community. The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional team, driving strategies to grow participation, enhance program excellence, and support the volunteers who are essential to the organization's mission.
Candidates for the CXO position should be mission-aligned, strategic, results-oriented, and adept at building a culture of trust and shared purpose. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in youth development, education, or nonprofit organizations, and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a strong commitment to advancing these values in all areas of work. Key responsibilities include partnering with the executive team to shape the organization's strategy, developing data-driven membership and program strategies, and fostering collaboration across various functions.
