About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Experience Strategist (CES) to join its executive team. The CES will serve as the primary architect of a remarkable member experience, focusing on creating and delivering an inspiring, inclusive, and impactful leadership journey for thousands of youth and adult members. This role is crucial for ensuring that each interaction, from the first troop meeting to varied leadership adventures, strengthens engagement, fosters a sense of belonging, and enriches community growth. The ideal candidate will lead a diverse cross-functional team, driving innovative strategies to increase participation, enhance program quality, and support the dedicated volunteers critical to the organization's mission. Candidates should be aligned with our mission, strategic thinkers, results-oriented, and skilled in nurturing a culture of trust and collaboration. The position requires a leader with demonstrated experience in youth development, education, or nonprofit sectors, with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively working to advance these values across all initiatives. Key responsibilities include partnering with the executive team to define the organization's strategic direction, developing data-informed membership and program strategies, and fostering collaboration across functions. The CES will also innovate program design, particularly in STEM, outdoor activities, entrepreneurship, and life skills, ensuring they are culturally relevant, outcome-focused, and accessible to all.
