About the Role The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President, External Wholesaler for the South/Southwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and building the company's presence in the Bank Channel. This role involves partnering with the Division Sales VP to develop and lead wholesaling efforts, working closely to create and execute business plans that align with sales and growth objectives. The RVP will also be accountable for collaborating with internal and external partners to identify producer needs, develop travel schedules, and implement strategies to increase the sale of fixed indexed annuities. Building and maintaining producer relationships, conducting training sessions, and strategically planning resource deployment for the territory are key aspects of the position.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for those with a military background. A minimum of 10 years' prior wholesaling experience, particularly in the fixed annuity marketplace, is required. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in sales, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. The RVP will be expected to have or obtain FINRA Licensing (Series 6) within 6 months of employment and must be local to the designated sales region.
