The facility features dedicated labor and delivery services with 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum beds, supported by hospitalist staff, 24/7 on-call anesthesiology, and radiology support.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• 24-hour call coverage for multiple dates in September, October, and December 2025
• Round on patients, provide on-call coverage for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Handle emergent GYN procedures as needed
• Manage routine deliveries including vaginal and C-section procedures
• Provide care for complicated deliveries including breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform VBAC deliveries and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Conduct OB ultrasounds with interpretation capabilities
• Provide office/minor gynecology services (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP)
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Average of 27 deliveries monthly with approximately 11 C-sections
• Must have active NC license and NC DEA with NC address
• Must be enrolled with Medicare/PECOS and have NC Medicaid credential
• Must be fully vaccinated and have no recent or open malpractice cases
• Must provide case logs from the last 2 years showing active delivery experience
• Must remain within 20 minutes of the facility per hospital bylaws
• Housing provided in hospital apartments adjacent to the facility
