Sagentia Regulatory provides federal, state and international expertise on a wide range of scientific and regulatory issues. With experts in regulatory affairs, chemistry, toxicology, ecotoxicology, residue and metabolism, environmental fate, efficacy, and risk assessment, Sagentia Regulatory supports the registration, compliance, and defense of chemically related products. Our federal services support chemical products that are regulated and registered at the federal level under key federal acts and by federal agencies such as EPA and FDA.

We are seeking a Junior IT Technical Analyst (1st line support) to join our team in our downtown Washington DC office. This role will provide 1st Line, primarily for our staff across the USA and Canada and will work closely with the wider IT team based in the UK. The position is part time, five days a week with the expected working hours being 1pm - 6pm.

The role will be the sole IT position in north America and as such, will require the successful applicant to be able to work off their own initiative, collaborate closely with key stake holders and able to proactively manage their own time. You will be responsible for responding to tickets, triaging and escalating issues where appropriate. You will perform routine maintenance and setup of user accounts, permissions and passwords along with assisting the central IT team with deployment of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain Windows & 11 operating systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc). Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and software. Document and track issues and resolutions in the IT helpdesk system. Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software. Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications. Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues. Stay up to date with the latest IT trends and technologies. Ability to work independently when need arises.
