As a Data Architect at Gentiva, youll play a pivotal role in shaping our enterprise data solutions. Youll collaborate with senior IT leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure data platforms, architecture, and processes support our long-term business strategy while maintaining compliance, security, and scalability.
As a Data Architect, You Will:
Design, recommend, implement, and oversee solutions across data strategy, platform design, architecture, development, and deployment
Establish development norms, patterns, and best practices for the enterprise data platform
Oversee onboarding of new data sources and technologies in alignment with Gentivas IT strategy
Document current and future state architectures as part of a multi-year roadmap
Partner with vendors to implement projects that align with long-term solution goals
Provide support to Business Relationship Managers and end users as needed
Serve as backup support and provide input to the solution architect role
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and organizational policies
Collaborate with business and technical teams to establish KPIs, metadata structures, pipelines, and data vocabularies
Drive continual improvement in data management processes, tools, and governance
About You
Qualifications What Youll Bring: Knowledge of database design, SQL, T-SQL stored procedures & scripting
Strong documentation skills with experience creating architectural diagrams
Ability to remediate and prevent technical debt with supportable, scalable architectural solutions
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Detail- and deadline-oriented with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities
Flexible, responsive, and able to thrive in a fast-changing business environment
Ability to take ownership and deliver against goals and deadlines
Experience with development technologies in a Microsoft environment
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Associate degree in MIS or Computer Science (minimum); Bachelors Degree preferred
Focused experience with data warehouse design, development, and integration technologies
Ability to code in multiple languages (e.g., C#, Python)
Experience with Azure platforms and services
