G2 Consulting Group is looking for a full-time Environmental Project Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in expanding our presence near Chicago, IL. This role offers a unique opportunity to help grow our office while developing client relationships and driving new project opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead strategic growth and project execution within the Illinois market. This individual will play a pivotal role in business development, team leadership, and technical project delivery. A deep understanding of environmental regulations, site assessments, and client relationship management is essential. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a client-facing environment and is passionate about growing and mentoring a team. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field. 810 years of relevant environmental consulting or engineering experience. 57 years of project management experience. 34 years in a supervisory or team leadership role. Demonstrated success in business development and client engagement is strongly preferred. Responsibilities & Duties: Ability to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, including identifying and pursuing prospective business opportunities. Analyze complex environmental problems and provide constructible solutions backed by sound engineering practices. Manage various clients, ensuring customers satisfaction through timely delivery of high-quality reports and completion of the services within the expected budget. Oversee and mentor staff engineers and project engineers working within the department.
