Contractor | 10–15 hrs/week | $33–$55/hr | Four-Month Initial Term We’re looking for a

Social Media Strategist

to support the execution of digital campaigns for Ground Media clients and strengthen Ground Media’s own social presence. This is a part-time contract role ideal for a creative strategist who knows how to translate research and storytelling into high-performing social content. What You’ll Do

Execute client and Ground Media social media campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter. Create and schedule posts (graphics, videos, and copy) that align with strategy briefs and campaign goals. Repurpose existing content (video, testimonials, event footage, publications) into engaging short-form content. Draft social copy that is compelling, accessible, and optimized for each platform. Track content performance and provide insights to optimize campaigns in real time. Collaborate with the Ground team to brainstorm creative ideas and maintain a consistent brand presence. What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital strategy (agency or campaign experience a plus). Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences. Proven ability to create high-performing content across multiple platforms. Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Descript, or similar tools. A creative mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Interest in storytelling, advocacy, and mission-driven campaigns. Rate $33/hr – $55/hr, depending on experience. 3-month contract with possibility of extension.
