Beacon Hill has partnered with a longstanding client in Chicago in hiring a Product Marketing Manager to start immediately. We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused
professional
to drive the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the client's products. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales - ensuring that there is a deep understanding of customers, communicates product value effectively, and enables revenue growth. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B or B2C marketing, strong analytical skills, and a passion for telling compelling product stories that resonate with the market. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases. Define product positioning, messaging, and unique value propositions to differentiate in the market. Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and insights. Partner with product management to translate customer needs into product requirements and roadmap priorities. Create sales enablement tools, playbooks, and training to equip the sales team with product knowledge and messaging. Collaborate with demand generation, content, and digital marketing teams to build campaigns that drive awareness and adoption. Own customer personas and buyer journey insights to inform marketing strategies. Work with analytics to track product adoption, customer engagement, and marketing ROI. Act as the voice of the customer internally and the product evangelist externally through presentations, webinars, and events. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus). 3+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related field. Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and value-based messaging. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams. Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to shape marketing strategies. Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.).
