Our North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Marketing Teams are responsible for marketing and growing a portfolio of brands ensuring that each brand connects deeply with local consumers in ways that scale globally.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
Lead development of the brand strategy utilizing consumer, category, commercial, and industry insights to create winning long-term plans with short-term positive impact for the business. Deliver profitable, sustainable volume growth in the category, while ensuring continuous improvement of the long-term value for the brands across all markets.
Manage an established brand and/or a portfolio of brands to deliver the companys category volume, share, and profit objectives; monitor changes in the marketplace to identify gaps and opportunities for new revenue through innovation, new product concepts, or brand/flavor/package extensions.
Help develop short and mid-term (1-3 years) innovation strategy and annual plans for the brand and/or portfolio within NAOU.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the brands consumer base, their attitudes, and behaviors to formulate integrated marketing and communication programs that enhance brand imagery and influence consumer attitudes and behaviors.
Identify proactive opportunities (volume, profit, connections, assets), conduct competitive benchmarking, and develop insight-based strategies for existing portfolios.
Illuminate the brand potential and strategy to inspire key customers and bottlers to support and accelerate brands in key markets and retail channels.
Identify key business priorities and collaborate with cross-functional partners and agencies to bring marketing programs and materials to market, developing integrated plans and executing effectively.
Lead cross-functional teams, provide direction, and manage timelines to achieve KPIs and objectives.
Support P&L management for brand net revenue, gross profit, and marketing expenses to ensure growth and financial targets are met.
Participate in global/regional projects to maximize synergy across markets and departments.
Coach and develop marketing team members; participate in hiring processes for marketing roles.
Education Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
Related Work Experience
At least 5 years of marketing experience. Minimum 2 years in a brand management role, capable of steering brand initiatives to meet business and consumer objectives. At least 2 years managing a team with a proven track record of results.
