As a
Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) , you’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and customer success. You’ll work directly with customers to deeply understand their operations, then design, build, and deploy solutions powered by the platform. No two deployments will be the same—you’ll be rapidly prototyping, iterating, and shipping code that immediately impacts customer workflows. This role is ideal for engineers who are excited by variety, love solving messy real-world problems, and enjoy working closely with end-users. What You’ll Do
Partner directly with customers to map business processes and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Build, customize, and deploy integrations and applications in
TypeScript
and/or
Python .
Rapidly prototype features, test with customers, and iterate based on feedback.
Collaborate with the core product and engineering teams to feed insights from deployments back into the platform.
Become a subject-matter expert in customer workflows and help shape the product roadmap.
What We’re Looking For
Strong coding skills in
TypeScript
and/or
Python
(bonus: experience with React/Next.js).
2–5+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or similar role.
Excitement about working in-person at the
Palo Alto
office with customers and the team.
Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Excellent communication skills—you can talk to engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Startup mindset: resourceful, scrappy, and motivated by impact.
Nice to Have
Prior experience in logistics, operations, or workflow automation.
Experience building customer-facing tools, dashboards, or integrations.
Background in forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting.
