Position Summary: The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting budget and close processes, and ensuring compliance with polices and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, and internal reporting. The Staff Accountant will work across multiple entities and contribute to both financial accuracy and operational efficiency within the accounting function. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and record accurate general ledger transactions and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures Reconcile bank statements and key balance sheet accounts Assist COO in preparing internal financial statements and management reports Assist in the preparation of board materials Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Assist in cash flow monitoring Assist in the preparation and review of employee expense reports Assist with vendor management processes and maintain vendor records Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and regulatory requirements Assist in managing and renewing required licensing requirements Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in an accounting role Experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred
