Akkodis currently has a remote QA Engineer position. No C2C or agencies allowed with this position.Rate Range: $50.00/hour to $55.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.The QA Engineer assists in end-to-end test strategy, drives both manual and automated testing across features, analyzes quality metrics, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product reliability and process efficiency. This person will sit on the Professional Services team, which supports customer-funded service delivery initiatives separate from standard SaaS license support activities. Examples include customer implementations, business expansion, and optimization initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities•Create manual and automated test cases based on project requirements. •Execute test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance. •Identify bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies in the software. •Document and report issues using bug-tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla. •Work closely with developers to understand features and resolve issues. •Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide feedback for improvements-run test cases to verify bug fixes and ensure stability. •Confirm that resolved issues do not reappear in future builds. •Maintain detailed records of test cases, scripts, and results. •Prepare test reports for stakeholders and project managers. Top Skills/Background•Experience in QA testing roles with software testing experience in Agile or DevOps environments.•Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium).•Strong proficiency in writing automated tests in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python).•Knowledge in Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, SoapUI Jira, GitHub Issues, Redmine JMeter, Postman•Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and basics of RESTful services.•Understanding of continuous integration systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) and integrating test suites.•Solid knowledge of SQL for backend data validation and test environment setup.Additional Skills/Background•Knowledge of Care Management or Guiding Care will be added advantage.•Basic programming and scripting knowledge•Familiarity with SDLC and QA methodologies•Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing technologies•Effective communication skills for clear bug reporting, test documentation, and cross-team collaboration.•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and risk assessment.If you are interested in this QA Engineer job, then please click APPLY NOW.
