Fiber Field Technician

to join our

Security and Electronic Systems (SES)

Business Unit. As part of SES, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities

In this role, you will install and maintain electronic security systems, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Lead small teams or work as an individual on moderately complex installation projects. Conduct and document daily safety discussions. Install head end equipment locally and globally per design packages. Program head end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Troubleshoot systems and hardware locally and globally. Perform on-site software commissioning and testing. Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type:

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and may need U.S. Citizenship.

ACTIVE SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED . Education/Experience: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Education options include HS diploma or GED, military electronics training, graduation from an electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2+ years of electronics installation and maintenance experience focused on electronic security systems. Additional Skills: Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Effective time management and organization skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Desired Qualifications

Experience with telecommunications systems, fiber optics, copper cabling, and associated equipment. BICSI certifications or equivalent. Experience installing, terminating, and testing various cabling and fiber systems. Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and knowledge of relevant systems like Bosch, Genetec, etc. What We Offer
