ServiceNow Architect

About the Role Client is seeking a highly skilled
ServiceNow Architect
to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, ensuring that ServiceNow solutions align with organizational goals, best practices, and enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the
technical authority
for the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. Design, architect, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.). Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs. Define and enforce ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration best practices. Lead ServiceNow roadmap planning, upgrades, and new module implementations. Provide oversight for integrations with external systems using APIs, MID servers, and other connectors. Conduct performance optimization, troubleshooting, and system health checks. Ensure compliance with
security, risk, and data governance
policies. Mentor ServiceNow developers and administrators; guide solution delivery teams. Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of IT experience , with
5+ years in ServiceNow architecture/design . Proven expertise in
ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB . Strong understanding of
integration frameworks (REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP, SSO, OAuth, etc.) . Hands-on experience with
ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer) . Knowledge of
cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
and enterprise IT infrastructure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in
enterprise-scale implementations . Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA)
or
Certified Technical Architect (CTA) . ITIL v4 Foundation or higher. Experience working in large global organizations (preferably financial or international institutions). Familiarity with
Agile/DevOps methodologies .
