Payroll Coordinator
The Payroll Coordinator will report to the Payroll Manager and will support all duties associated with the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payrolls for 1,600 employees. This role will work closely with Human Resources and other departments. This individual will be driven, highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, self-directed and own the payroll function. This role would be part-time, 20 hours a week. Pay rate: $30/hour. Responsibilities: Work closely with the payroll vendors to process all payrolls for employees in the American and Canadian regions Maintain employee payroll records, including timesheets, work records, and other relevant data Review and verify payroll data for accuracy and completeness Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to payroll Strong work ethics with the ability and flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods such as payroll submission remittance deadline Requirements: 2-3 years of payroll processing experience Possess a working knowledge of payroll-related requirements and regulations for federal, state and local payroll laws Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Working knowledge of payroll software, preferably UKG Good working knowledge of Microsoft business suite, specifically Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally Accounting degree a plus
