Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in professional liability, with a focus on medical and dental malpractice and long-term care defense. Duties Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of legal sources. Manage litigation caseloads from start to finish independently. Ensure compliance with deadlines and develop defense strategies. Assist in document review and analysis. Conduct depositions and make regular court appearances. Support trial preparation and participate in trials. Adhere to client guidelines and communicate effectively with clients. Requirements Good standing with the Illinois bar. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in research and analytical tasks. Deposition experience is preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
