Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational General Manager to lead the team at Joe’s on Newbury. The GM will be responsible for driving operational excellence, cultivating a guest-first culture, and leading a high-performing management and hourly team. This leader will set the tone for hospitality, ensure profitability, and uphold the brand standards that make Joe’s a beloved Boston destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for daily operations of Joe’s on Newbury.
- Build, develop, and inspire a strong management team and staff through hands-on leadership, coaching, and accountability.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverage, and guest service standards.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives, marketing partnerships, and local community engagement.
- Manage P&L, budgets, labor, and cost controls to meet financial targets.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
- Collaborate with Tavistock leadership to implement company initiatives and continuously improve performance.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in full-service restaurants, with at least 2 years as a General Manager.
- Proven success in managing high-volume operations in a polished casual or upscale environment.
- Strong business acumen with experience overseeing P&L, forecasting, and cost management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of developing and retaining top talent.
