About the Role

Christian & Timbers is a leading executive search and talent solutions firm specializing in the placement of transformational leaders. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead our outbound market outreach efforts. This pivotal role is responsible for the hands-on strategy, execution, and optimization of all outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns aimed at generating new client opportunities. The ideal candidate is a "player coach" —a hands-on leader who can drive performance while expertly managing a distributed, global team and actively participating in the day-to-day outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Design, launch, and personally execute comprehensive outbound email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns from start to finish.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing overseas team of business development representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed performance targets, while also serving as a direct contributor to the team's success.
  • Technology & Systems: Serve as the primary owner for our HubSpot platform, leveraging its full capabilities for campaign automation, lead nurturing, and data tracking.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to monitor campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements to optimize outreach efforts.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform targeting strategies and refine messaging.
  • Content Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to develop compelling and relevant content for all outreach campaigns.
  • Reporting: Provide regular, detailed reports on campaign performance, team productivity, and key metrics to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record in a business development leadership role.
  • Required: Extensive, hands-on experience running large-scale outbound email campaigns.
  • Required: Deep expertise in developing and executing LinkedIn-based business development strategies, including connection requests, InMail, and content engagement.
  • Required: Advanced proficiency with HubSpot, including marketing automation, CRM functionality, and reporting.
  • Required: A minimum of 3 years of experience managing and leading remote or overseas teams.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on process optimization.
  • Results-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
