Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: RN - ICU - Contract Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Address: 1450 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029 Job Details: Start Date: 09/29/2025 Shift: 3x12s (7:00A - 7:30P) 4th shift/month Every Other Weekend Hours/Week: 34.5 Patient Ratio: 1:2 Unit Census: 8 beds Unit Details: Department: CICU/CSDU (Cardiac ICU) Floor: KCC 6th Floor Charting: EPIC (highly preferred) Facility Type: Academic Medical Center Job Overview: Provide critical care to cardiac ICU patients using Relationship-Centered Care model, including: Patient Care: Assessments, interventions, and care planning. Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination. Safety/Quality: Adhere to high-reliability practices and escalate risks. Patient Education: Teach patients/families on care transitions and health promotion. Operations: Charge nurse duties, resource management, and documentation. Requirements: Licensure: Active NYS RN License (required) Experience: 2 years critical care/telemetry (Cardiac ICU experience mandatory ) 1 year travel experience (for Travel RNs) Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Education: BSN preferred (ASN accepted with BSN enrollment) EPIC: Highly preferred Other: No local candidates within 50 miles Key Notes: Schedule: Includes a 4th shift per month every other weekend.
