The role involves working a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit has 32 beds and a staff of 150, accommodating patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. Equipment utilized includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound. There is no call requirement, and weekends are scheduled on an alternating basis. Typical procedures performed in this unit include spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC. Candidates must have competencies in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE, and C-section circulation. Preferred candidates will have internal monitor placement competency and previous experience in a high-volume unit. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude. Scrub color required is navy blue, and T-shirts are not acceptable; only solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are permitted. Adherence to the attendance policy is required.
