No call requirements. Floating within facility scope of practice and to outpatient as needed. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Once a candidate signs, the profile will be reviewed for fit within 48 hours. To start on time, full compliance is required. If not compliant, there will be a pushback of two weeks due to orientation scheduling. The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length. Travelers are expected to work during holidays that fall within their assignment period. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of those holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary requirements quickly after signing. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. If a traveler cannot return to a facility, they must complete one successful assignment elsewhere before rebooking. Modules are non-billable and hours are factored into a non-billable orientation. Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
