The Electrical Engineer ideal candidate has significant experience and background in Electrical Engineering / design capable of executing the core responsibilities listed below. Responsibilities: Support medium scope projects through the detail design and implementation phase. This includes development of BOM generation, electrical control panel phasing plans, Electrical Engineering work plans, and design approval packages Supporting Project Engineer during transition from Detailed Design to Final Engineering Reviewing and providing Electrical Engineering input to Description of Operation (DOO) & Functional Specification (FSD) documentation Providing Electrical Engineering input for implementation plan Developing Electrical Engineering work plan to ensure successful project milestone achievements Leading Controls Layout review meetings with internal teams and Client. Supporting Project Engineer to achieve design acceptance Electrical device layout package Control panel fabrication package Electrical installation package Attending Client meetings as required Utilizing AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical for drawings Qualifications: 4-year engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar engineering program) from an accredited college plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience Conveyor control process experience (photoeyes, solenoids, variable frequency drive, line scanner, print and apply application) Advanced collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal communication) Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Promis-e, or E-Plan for electrical design Desired Qualifications: Experience managing Engineering projects requiring collaboration between multiple Engineering work streams UL, NEC, NFPA, OSHA design requirements 480VAC motor control panel design experience Strong comprehension of Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, network design and requirements
