SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage operations across multiple SONIC drive-ins, overseeing General Managers and employees to ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities include: Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and conducting management orientation. Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards. Overseeing multiple drive-in employees and management in performing all duties across various stations to ensure quality and service standards are met. Ensuring compliance with employee handbook policies and practices. Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly. Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing and service levels. Monitoring cost control procedures and taking corrective actions as needed. Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary. Auditing employment and payroll records. Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints appropriately. Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members. Approving employee and management compensation within guidelines. Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues. Developing and implementing regional marketing plans. Additional requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred. Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR. Experience managing multiple units. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations. Leadership, communication, and supervisory skills. Basic accounting and computer skills.
