UpRiver Village helps older adults remain living in their own homes and engaged in their communities as long as possible by providing social activities and extensive volunteer services in Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview and Wood Village.
The Communications Team Leader oversees and coordinates a small team of volunteers who promote and get the word out about UpRiver Village in print (website, social media posts, brochures, newsletter, newspaper articles and ads, signage and collateral materials, etc.) Can be done remotely when convenient for the volunteer.
Volunteers will developcommunication and writing skills, marketing skills, branding skills and experience, and work with a team to develop a new nonprofit organization,
Opportunity Requirements: Volunteers must be
18 years of age or older
to participate in this opportunity.
