Buckingham/Wolfe is a national leader in structural lifting and relocation. We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Wolfe House Movers division. This is a vital role that goes beyond scheduling—it requires excellent people skills, crew coordination savvy and the ability to serve as the key liaison between our teams and our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign crew members to structural moving projects based on availability, skillset and location
Create, maintain and adjust daily/weekly schedules for multiple field crews
Act as a primary point of contact with clients to coordinate job timelines, access issues and changes
Communicate project details clearly to site leaders and crew members
Monitor equipment availability and ensure crews are properly outfitted for the day
Track job status and update internal systems accordingly
Collaborate with the fabrication, transport and engineering departments when needed
Support overall office coordination with a team mindset
Requirements
Qualifications:
Prior experience in dispatching, operations coordination or construction crew scheduling
Strong interpersonal and communication skills—especially with customers
Ability to multitask, prioritize and keep calm under pressure
Organized and detail-oriented with solid problem-solving instincts
Computer proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets and GPS/map tools
