Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) - Leading Home Care Organizaion - NYC Company Overview This leading organization is redefining homecare with a commitment to quality, individualized service. Position Summary The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will lead strategic HR initiatives to support the organization's growth and reinforce its mission. This role will oversee all aspects of HR, from retention and compliance to culture and organizational design, ensuring that people and processes align to create a thriving, motivated workforce. Roles and Responsibilities Retention Management: Develop and implement retention strategies, including growth plans and support mechanisms. Training and Development: Lead department specific and company-wide training initiatives, performance management, and leadership development. Company Culture: Drive initiatives that promote and sustain a positive, inclusive workplace culture. HR Policy and Compliance: Oversee HR policy development, compliance, and risk management. Process Management: Lead efforts to document and streamline processes across departments. Organizational Design: Design and manage HR structures to support business growth and adaptability. Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation strategy, payroll administration, and benefits programs. Success Measurements - 30 Days: Establish a rapport with leadership, identify structural needs/challenges, and create a roadmap to address key organizational issues. - 60 Days: Begin process and training documentation and centralize training documents across departments, initiate company-wide trainings as needed, and identify where we can streamline inefficiencies. - 90 Days: Overhaul process management (as needed), implement a training program in collaboration with each department, complete an HR compliance audit, and mentor mid-level managers. - 6 Months: Complete process management updates, implement retention strategies (training, support, growth plan), and analyze retention data monthly; plan for scalable payroll admin costs. - 12 Months: Achieve 80-85% employee retention, ensure all employees are “right people, right seats”, foster a strong organizational culture, and maintain compliance with HR regulations. Requirements Experience: Proven experience in strategic HR leadership roles, preferably within homecare or healthcare industries.Skills: Strong understanding of HR compliance, organizational design, and retention strategies; adept in process management and employee training.Traits: Strategic, proactive, people-focused, and committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic work environment.
