We are currently looking for an experienced Tax professional interested in joining a growing company in supporting our worldwide operations in Salt Lake City. This role will report to the Head of Tax and will be an essential part of the tax reporting and compliance processes.

The Tax Accountant has primary responsibility for all indirect taxes including; sales & use tax, property taxes, unclaimed property, annual reports, & tax notices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with advisor to prepare sales and use tax returns and unclaimed property
• Prepare business license, property tax and similar state and local returns
• Assist with the preparation quarterly and annual global tax provisions using OneSource Tax Provision software
• Assist with the Preparation of U.S., and state tax returns using OneSource Income Tax software
• Research and document findings related to U.S. federal and state tax issues

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• 3+ years of tax provision and / or tax compliance experience
• Experience working for a public company or large accounting firm
• B.S. Degree in Accounting required
• Preference may be given to candidates with CPAs or advanced degrees

Preferred Experience

• Experience with data mining in ERP system with experience with SAP a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Avalara
• Experience with property, sales and use taxes
• Working knowledge of US GAAP

Qualities that would be a plus

• OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision software experience
• Experience with SAP
• Manufacturing Industry Experience
