Job Summary

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge and ability to apply internal audit standards, IT risk assessment and governance frameworks, and cybersecurity standards (NIST, COBIT, ISO, and COSO). Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations relating to IT operations, records, and auditing. Skill in organizing information in a logical manner to support audit results. Ability to balance multiple competing projects and task efforts with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats to objectively and tactfully communicate with IT and non-IT staff while maintaining an attitude of professional skepticism and confidentiality throughout audits. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Skill in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher AND Two (2) years as an IT Auditor or directly related experience OR An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required. Current certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) is required.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
