IEM is looking for a Full time-Junior Analyst who will be a member of a planning team that executes the FEMA six-step planning process to develop deliberate plans that describe and detail a federal concept of operations to respond to and recover from catastrophic disasters.

Primary Location:

Live in or within a commutable distance to Washington, DC.

Work in an Office Environment with a team.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.

Essential Functions:

Provides general assistance and oversight support to the project to include ensuring logistical requirements for meetings and other events are met

Assists with research, analysis, and development of recommendations

Assists with information paper, briefing material, and presentation development

Responsible for the day-to-day management of information and documents, SharePoint sites, shared drives, and/or Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN)

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree:

Bachelor's degree in emergency management or related field.

Experience:

Five (5) years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

FEMA ICS and NIMS course completion

Demonstrated experience in support of national-, regional- state-, and/or county-level plan development

Past experience with the federal interagency planning process

Past experience with the military planning system or comparable formal planning system

TS/SCI Clearance (for Washington DC area candidates)

Office Locations:

Often, these offices are either owned by the client we work with or by IEM. All candidates are expected to follow any rules and regulations of the office in which they are required to work for that project.

Annual Salary based on experience and location: $75,750 - $78,000
