Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst (483) Location:
Fresno The FP&A Analyst supports the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. This role collaborates closely with leadership and department managers to provide accurate financial data, insights, and recommendations to enhance efficiency, growth, and organizational alignment. How will I contribute
Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial models. Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate trends, track KPIs, and support scenario analysis. Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts; identify variances and provide commentary and recommendations. Collaborate with department leaders to understand business drivers and provide financial insights into performance. Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and analysis for executive leadership. Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and margins to identify risks and opportunities. Support the development of board reports, investor materials, and strategic presentations. Assist in evaluating business initiatives, capital projects, or grant-funded programs. Work with Accounting to ensure data accuracy and timely closing processes. Improve forecasting processes, reporting tools, and financial systems for efficiency and insight. Research economic, industry, and market trends impacting financial performance or strategy. Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s success. Note: Use of company vehicles may be monitored by dashcam systems for safety and operational purposes. Consent is required for driving roles; refusal may lead to reassignment. What I bring
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Driver's License Class C At least 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related field Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking Ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work independently Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Power BI) The Benefits
