IT Project Manager . This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has the desire to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing food manufacturing company. Position Summary: Manage delivery of IT projects and services to business users. This includes managing and facilitating project planning, developing, installing, configuring, and training for IT centric initiatives. Facilitate requirements gathering and assisting with assignment of technical resources to ensure project success. Prepare, manage, and report on project level budgets. Responsibilities: Manage multiple departmental level projects by utilizing sound project management methodology that includes identifying and managing overall project plans & dependencies; identifying project risks and critical paths; developing mitigation plans with project team and key stakeholders; identifying and escalating issues to ensure resolution and to make sure project deliverables stay on time and on budget. Gather and analyze business and process requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Assist in developing project management standards and tools which include procedures, templates, tools, sharing best practices, etc. Analyze current IT project portfolio and ensure projects are properly assigned, and IT resources have the bandwidth to accomplish the task. Prepare communication plan, project reports, and conduct key stakeholder meetings to provide updates on activities and deliverables, as well as significant changes, risks and mitigation strategies. Continuously keep the project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project team informed as to the projects purpose, background, scope, requirements and critical issues. Coach, mentor, and train staff in business analysis and project management methodology. Accept special projects willingly and complete them promptly. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field. Experience or Training: 5 years of IT experience supporting a process manufacturing environment. 2 years as a Project Manager. Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Exposure to Food Processing or Manufacturing is required. Licenses/Certifications or experience: Active Directory, Azure AD, SQL, Microsoft Office365 Suite, Windows endpoints and Microsoft CRM/Dynamics, Cisco networking, VMware, SAN/Fibre Channel, wireless, firewalls/VPN, backup/DR are desired. Technology/Equipment: Strong mechanical/technical ability as well as versatile hardware and software technical ability. Preferred Qualifications: Licenses/Certifications: PMBOK, PSM1, PMP, PMI-PBA, CAPM or ACP certification. Agile Scrum Master, Atlassian JIRA experience is highly desired. Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate office equipment efficiently. Requires frequent walking, bending, standing and sitting with exposure to production areas requiring use of safety equipment and exposure to cold, wet, damp, hot and noisy environments. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
